Data Collection on our Website

Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?
The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the Legal Notice of this website.

How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected when you provide it to us. This is the email address you enter into our waitlist form. Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website through our IT systems (e.g., IP address, browser type, or time of page access).

What do we use your data for?
Your email address is collected solely for the purpose of keeping you informed about the status, development, and official launch of our product "Nodexi," and to grant you early beta access.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future.

2. Hosting and Infrastructure

Cloudflare

We host our website using Cloudflare Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare provides a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and web security features for our website. Therefore, all traffic to this website is routed through Cloudflare's infrastructure.

Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of data protection. The use of Cloudflare is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a secure, fast, and stable website).

Firebase Database & Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

The email address you enter in our waitlist is processed and stored in a Firebase database hosted by Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Google Cloud EMEA Limited (70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland) is the service provider.

To ensure compliance with European data protection standards, we have configured Firebase to process and store all data exclusively on servers located within the European Union (specifically in Frankfurt am Main, Germany).

Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of data protection. The data processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

3. Data Processing on This Website

Waitlist Form

If you sign up for our waitlist, the submitted data (your email address and the timestamp of registration) will be processed to send you product updates and beta invitations.

The processing of this data is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time—for example, by sending an informal email to [email protected]. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation. Your data will be stored until you request its deletion or revoke your consent.

Cloudflare Turnstile (Bot and Spam Protection)

To protect our sign-up forms from automated bots and spam, we use the "Cloudflare Turnstile" service. This service analyzes visitor behavior based on various characteristics (e.g., IP address, time spent on page, cursor movements) to distinguish human users from automated scripts.

This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our web forms from abuse, overload (DDoS attacks), and automated spam.

4. Your Rights as a Data Subject

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • Access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of your consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at any time using the contact details provided in our Legal Notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
